**Terms & Conditions**

Welcome to UK-RentMe CIC's Terms and Conditions page. By using our platform, you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.


**User Eligibility:**
All users of UK-RentMe CIC, whether guests or hosts, must be at least 18 years of age. Each user is allowed to maintain only one account. Any attempt to create multiple accounts or provide false information may result in a ban from our platform.


**Social Media Integration:**
For users signing up using their Facebook or other social media platform login, certain information such as name, age, and email address is automatically imported from these platforms. It is essential that this information is accurate and legally valid before utilizing social media for registration on UK-RentMe CIC.


**Compliance with Laws:**
Please be aware that using our platform for home or apartment rentals might breach the terms of your lease agreement, potentially considered subletting. Should you choose to disregard your lease terms, any consequences are solely your responsibility. UK-RentMe CIC absolves itself of any liability in such situations, including potential eviction notices from landlords.


**Guest and Host Responsibilities:**
Guests and hosts must exercise discretion and care in their interactions on our platform. Hosts retain the right to accept or deny any stay request, while guests should ensure their chosen accommodations are safe and suitable for their needs.


**Host Rules:**
UK-RentMe CIC empowers hosts to establish their own guidelines for guests. These rules could pertain to pets, smoking, or other specific requirements. Guests are expected to familiarize themselves with and adhere to these rules during their stay. Failure to do so may result in early eviction, with potential loss of paid fees.


**Insurance Coverage:**
While UK-RentMe CIC offers a "Host Guarantee" of up to $1,000,000 for eligible claims, hosts are required to maintain their insurance coverage to address losses or damages. Our coverage comes into play only after a host's insurance resources are exhausted.


**Damage Resolution:**
In cases of minor damage, hosts may work with UK-RentMe CIC to recoup losses from guests. Provided sufficient evidence (such as photos) is supplied, we may charge a guest's credit card for the damage. We also facilitate negotiation between guests and hosts for damage costs.


**Booking Process and Fees:**
Hosts maintain control over accepting or rejecting booking requests, with a 24-hour window for response. Hosts set per-night rates, cleaning fees, and security deposits if applicable. Once a booking is confirmed, guests pay the total fee, including taxes and fees. UK-RentMe CIC charges hosts 3-20% of the per-night rate and collects 0-20% of the total fare from guests.


**Tax Compliance:**
Hosts are responsible for filing tax documents as required by applicable laws. Income from renting through UK-RentMe CIC may be subject to taxation.


**Cancellation Policies:**
You have a 24-hour window to cancel your booking free of charge, starting from the time of booking. After this initial 24-hour period, a cancellation fee will be applicable. However, if the cancellation request is made within 48 hours of the scheduled check-in, no cancellation option will be available, and the full Rental payment will be charged.

Additionally, at the discretion of RentMe, we sometimes offer a more lenient approach. In specific cases, we may provide a 50% refund of the overall booking/deposit amount if the cancellation occurs 14 days prior to the booking or 7 days prior, provided we are able to secure an alternative booking for the same dates and at the same price. Please note that for other cancellations, a refund will not be available. We appreciate your understanding of these policies as we strive to accommodate the needs of all our guests and maintain the quality of our services.


We are committed to providing prompt assistance. Our team aims to reply within 48 hours to any inquiries you may have.

Upon receiving a new booking/request, we will notify you via email, text, or Whatsapp.
Our cancellation policy is strictly enforced  on your behalf

(refer to the detailed terms on our dedicated terms and conditions page for each booking, which we expect you to do).
Deposit arrangement upon booking:
We require a reasonable Min £150 Non-Refundable Deposit per Booking on your listing.
We can offer:

(This deposit is held in our RentMe Deposit Account to cover cancellations, damages, or instances of excessive cleaning.)
Rental Duration:
We advice Minimum stay is 3 nights, and with reduced pricing for bookings exceeding 1 week.
We do not impose additional charges from what we agree for:
Cleaning fees, Accounts, payment & card transaction fees, 24hr call centre, or marketing! We charge for the listing Only!
We ensure 100% payment according to your preferred method before granting the client access to the keys.


**Responsibility for our listings**

We do not assume any responsibility for our listings, including checks. Each individual must directly request details from each listing upon booking with us. We will verify the listing's suitability, such as availability, before sharing contact information to expedite the process and save time.

**Fee & Disputes*

Landlords have the option to pay a monthly fee in advance for advertising or pay a percentage of the rentals upon successful booking. In the event of any issues concerning the tenant, direct communication and resolution should occur between the landlord and the tenant. Nevertheless, Renmt CIC is willing to facilitate communication between both parties upon request. We provide payment facility management services on behalf of the renter and the landlord, upon their request.
